About the Item

A ring with band in solid 18K Yellow Gold and oval cut natural Sapphire 8.5 mm x 7 mm x 3.7 mm deep / ca. 2 ct. The stone is Blue of medium intensity with spectacular colored nebula and inclusions in the center well visible under magnification. Made ca. 1920s - 1930s. Hallmarked 18K, Swedish customs hallmarks confirming 18K. Size Ø 8 US / 18.19 mm. This ring can be sized. Weight: 1.56 grams Used, in fine condition. Very firm and secure setting. Minor chip on the Sapphire's girdle, well visible on one image with side view. Otherwise stone is well preserved with minimal wear to facets.
