Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring, circa 1950.
About the Item
Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.53 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, to a three stone design featuring curving double claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, the tapering shoulders supported by cheniers, flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78131-33.
