Antique Gorham Sterling Silver & Leather Covered Glass Safari Liquor Pint Flask
About the Item
A very fine antique liquor or whiskey 1 Pint flask.
By Gorham.
With a sterling twist-seal cap and removable cup on a leather covered blown glass body.
The leather cover has window on each side to monitor the content levels, and the cup has a gold washed interior.
Model no. S 653.
With a date cypher for 1897.
Engraved with an incredible oyster shell to the cup's front. So, this is perhaps a more likely an 'oystering' or 'clam-digging' flask than a safari flask. No matter the outing or occasion, this flask will add wonderful depth and quality.
Marked to the neck for Gorham.
Simply a top-level antique American flask!
