About the Item

A fine pair of Mid-Century Modern sterling silver and wooden handled dishes. Possibly designed as raclette dishes, the pieces resemble small pans. Perfect nowadays for as bowls for a Modernist cocktail tray or service. The attached wooden handles are likely rosewood (or possibly mahogany/walnut). Simply great Scandinavian Modernist design! Date: Mid-20th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Helge Lingren for Kay Anderson Marks: Marked to the base of each with Studio / Kay Anderson's maker's mark / Three crowns Swedish silver mark / S / a crowned figure for Stockholm / E9 / Sterling / Helge Lingren Measurements: Length: ca. 6 5/8 in.
