Sterling Silver Pocket Corkscrew with a Mother of Pearl Handle, 18th Century

About the Item

In good vintage condition commensurate with its age. Some of the decorative silver on the handle is missing, this is reflected in the price. This rare travelling corkscrew has a silver sleeve and mother of pearl handle. The steel worm is held by a silver collar and can be threaded into the silver sheath when not in use. Hallmarked: Made in the 1700s. Additional Information: Total weight: 26.8g Size: 6.1cm long, the cover has a 8mm diameter. The handle is 4.3cm long and 2cm wide. SMS7138
