Pair of Antique George II Sterling Silver Taper Candlesticks by Ebenezer Coker
About the Item
A fine pair of antique Georgian taper sticks.
In cast sterling silver.
By Ebenezer Coker of London.
Dated for 1762.
Each with fluted hexafoil bases decorated with flower devices supporting a baluster stem and a corded candle cup.
Each lacking its original bobeche.
Simply a wonderful matched pair of period English taperstick candlesticks!

They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
One candlestick has a noticeable casting flaw to its baluster stem and a slight lean. Each taper stick lacks its original bobeche. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some light dings and indentations here and there, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
