    Of typical Old Russian design this rare and distinctive silver salt cellar in the shape of a throne is from the Romanov era, period of Tsar Alexander III. The surface simulates wooden bark, the hinged lid and pierced back decorated with star, heart and zigzag motifs recalling Pan Slavic designs, the base of trompe l’oeil texture, a technique which made Sazikov famous. 2 ¾ x 2 ¾ in. Supplier to the Imperial court and founded during the reign of Catherine the Great in the center of Moscow, Sazikov was one of the earliest silver firms in Russia.     This pure silver 999/°° K-OVER belongs to our wine collection. It has been designed to enhance the beauty and the elegance of pure silver. Indeed, the apparent simplicity of the product is used to highlight the preciousness of the materials that we use. The K-OVER is perfect to celebrate special events such as weddings, New Year’s Eve and birthdays. The cover has been completely handcrafted by Marco Fedi, a Florentine master goldsmith. The production process took one month and the technique used is spinning. Artist information: Marco Fedi started his career in the ‘80s, working for the most prestigious workshops in Florence. During the years, he worked for Tiffany, Bulgari, Christofle and Cartier. Today, he is collaborating with K-OVER for the projects K-over Memories and K-over Design. Technical features: K-OVER is the new brand of P.M.P Firenze, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry.
