The quality of the gold used to recover sterling silver is a minimum of 750 mils (18K). Four pieces of truly exceptional quality, for the richness of their decoration, not only for their form and sculpting, but also for the multi-coloured which is itself quite rare. The set includes a server, a ladle, a fork & a spoon. Silver-gilt upper parts and handles have fantastic decoration in the Renaissance style on a stippled background on one side and decorated with Mascaron & foliages on the other side. Both design and quality of workmanship are exceptional, and its manufacture would have necessitated many more hours work than usual.
