A fine American Modernist leaf bowl. In sterling silver. By Alfredo Sciarotta. With an organic edge, 'stem' tab handle, and ball feet. Handmade in Sciarrotta's silver shop and retailed by Black, Starr, and Gorham. Simply a fine example of American craft silver from one of the 20th Century's leading silversmiths! Date: Mid-20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is some apparent fire-scale and spotting visible in the surface. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some light dings and indentations here and there, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
