Style: Classic Pocketwatch spinning fob set with 2 gemstone intaglios Gemstones: Round cabochons of Carnelian and Bloodstone, not engraved. Age: Antique Early Victorian c1850s Condition: Very Good for age, spins well and lovely gold detailing Fastening: Fixed thick bale / loop. Hallmark: Exempt, Old UK 9c asayed, maker FL and fully tested / guaranteed (see below) Origin: UK DIMENSIONS Length: 35.3mm Width: 25.5 mm Depth: 7.8 mm Weight: 9.3 grams total Other Info: Very striking, well made. The piece originates from the UK. A stunning and highly collectable piece of Victoriana. Could be used as a pendant, a bracelet charm, a watch fob or many other things. Important info about Victorian jewellery: Many pieces such as this were made long before the Hallmarking Act came into force and though we have been hallmarking items in the UK since the 1300s this was not the norm until recently.
