About the Item
Circa 1933 Ingersoll Mickey Mouse Wrist Watch, This watch belonged to American Artist and Sculptor Ernest Trova ( 1927-2009 ) I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Trova in the Early 1990s, we shared the same interest in vintage Disney Character Timepieces, this being one of many i had purchased from him and kept in my collection. This is the Watch that started it all, an incredible success in Marketing and a big money maker for both Disney and Ingersoll. over 2.5 Million were produced between 1933 to 1937. Chromed steel case measuring 32 M.M in Diameter, pin lever manual wind movement, Lithographed Paper on Metal Dial with Mickey in Bright Red shorts, metal, Yellow Gloved hands and a spinning seconds Disk. The bracelet features raised Mickey Figures with Black enamel accents. Total length 7 inches. Very good to excellent condition. Recently overhauled and is Running.

- Condition:Repaired: mechanical serviicing. Wear consistent with age and use. the watch fully winds, sets and keeps time for up to 24 hours however there are pin lever non jeweled movements made originally for children, they keep time but are not considered accurate time keepers and can loose time during its wound cycle.
