The watch was originally purchased by Jerry Lewis, who seldom wore it because it looks new. Jerry had a penchant for buying small refined watches from all the local jewelers in Beverly Hills (I have three other watches owned by him as well). Jerry bought many of this watches from Bill Ruser who's store on the corner of Rodeo Drive and Dayton was a hang out for famous stars of the day. Bill was a friend of mine and I grew up several blocks down on Dayton Way (in the poorer side of town). This watch is basically in new condition as Jerry bought watches, but seldom wore them. You can wear this sophisticated watch all the time for all sorts of events and it is very dependable.
