I have three of these in stock, the other two are listed under my other items, I have edition numbers 145 of 2012, 195 of 2012 and lastly 1471 of 2012, the two with lower serial numbers both have the dealers plastic watch case which is super super rare and one has the original dealer lanyard which you will most likely ever see again. All three sets are absolutely brand new in the box, never tried on or worn, they have all the original sticky plastics on and have only been removed from the packaging to try on. This is a full set, it has the addition of the very very rare dealer plastic box, its worth £300 but it terms of added value to making the set more complete its priceless. Here is what Omega has to say THE SPEEDMASTER “SPEEDY TUESDAY” LIMITED EDITION For half a decade, an online community of #SpeedyTuesday fans has been steadily growing around the world. In tribute to these chronograph devotees, OMEGA is proud to introduce a new Limited Edition model that blends some of the Speedmaster’s most popular design features. SPACE HERITAGE The “Speedy Tuesday” takes its first design influence from the original 1978 “Speedmaster Alaska III” model. This watch was produced for NASA, who insisted on a watch that was anti-reflective and easy-to-read in space. For that reason, the “Speedy Tuesday” has stayed true to these qualities with a brushed matt-finish stainless steel case and radial subdials with enlarged numerals. "The return of OMEGA’s radial subdials is just one of the vintage touches in the watch." THE “REVERSE PANDA” DIAL In creating the dial, OMEGA has again taken inspiration from the past. This time, it’s the return of the “Reverse Panda” first seen in 1966. White opaline-silvery subdials are set against a black dial, encircled with a bezel ring and tachymeter scale in matt-black aluminium. There is a rare appearance of the vintage OMEGA logo and all markings and radial subdials have been coated with bright luminescent ink. "The 42 mm case embraces the anti-reflective qualities of the Speedmasters worn in space" A CLASSIC MOVEMENT The Speedmaster “Speedy Tuesday” is driven by the hand-wound calibre 1861, virtually the same movement that powered the timepieces NASA’s astronauts wore on the moon. Built with a high-grade rhodium-plated finish, it represents an important step in the Speedmaster evolution. UNIQUE TOUCHES Protecting the dial is a domed hesalite crystal with a central OMEGA logo. The caseback is stamped with the iconic seahorse medallion and encircled by the words SPEEDY TUESDAY ANNIVERSARY - A TRIBUTE TO ALASKA PROJECT III as well as the Limited Edition number. The word RADIAL circles the outer edge. Finally, the watch is presented on a brown leather strap with a vintage cut and stitching. "A polished vintage OMEGA logo also appears on the matt crown." SPECIAL PRESENTATION ROLL Each timepiece is presented in a special leather watch roll containing a black and white NATO strap with #SpeedyTuesday engraved on the strap's loop. The roll also contains a strap changing tool. STYLISH AND STRICTLY LIMITED The "Speedy Tuesday" is limited to just 2,012 pieces, marking the year that the online trend began. The 42 mm collectable includes a domed hesalite crystal with a central OMEGA logo and is held to the wrist by a vintage-cut brown leather strap with vintage buckle and stitching. It’s a celebrated part of Omega lore that the brand’s Speedmaster Professional Chronograph was the first watch to make a lunar landing. But the universal love for vintage Omega watches isn't confined to astronomers, and there’s more to the company’s heritage than the story of the Moonwatch.

The house’s origins date to 1848, when Swiss watchmaker Louis Brandt first set up shop. His sons Louis-Paul and César took over after his death, and in 1894, the pair developed an intriguing new movement.

Not only was it highly accurate, but every part was replaceable, making it easy for any professional to service. The Brandts called their movement the Omega, and as its popularity spread, they changed their company’s name to that of its flagship product.

In 1917, the British Royal Flying Corps designated Omega as an official supplier, and during World War II it became the principal watch supplier for the British forces and their allies. These commissions further strengthened Omega’s commitment to ensuring its products’ reliability under extreme conditions. In 1948, it launched the versatile Seamaster. Thanks in part to its rugged reputation and Omega’s links to the British military, it became James Bond’s watch of choice in 1995, appearing in GoldenEye and every succeeding Bond movie; it returned in 2021’s No Time to Die. Nevertheless, the most famous Omega by far is the Speedmaster, introduced in 1957. The first chronograph to display its tachymeter scale on the bezel instead of the dial for easier readability, it was quickly adopted by engineers and scientists.

Worn by Buzz Aldrin during the 1969 Apollo 11 lunar mission, it’s the only watch certified by NASA for extravehicular activity (space walks) — and, as far as we know, the only one approved by the Russian space agency, too.
