Gruen Curvex Tank Watch 10K Gold Filled Manual Wind
About the Item
This is an original condition 1940's Gruen Curvex Tank watch with a 10K gold filled case. This is one of the larger size Curvex models with a case measuring 22mm x 40mm lug to lug.
The Curvex models featured a revolutionary curved manual wind movement. Gruen was the first watch maison to produce a curved movement. This example has a caliber 6079 17 jewel movement.
The dial of this watch is original. The hours are gold applied Arabic numerals. Seconds are displayed in a sub dial register at 6 o'clock.
This case shows little wear. The watch has been serviced and is running well.
This watch will come with a one year warranty.
