About the Item
This bronze rhino head sculpture by Zawadi has been dedicated to celebrate “Storm”. Storm is an orphan rhino, raised in captivity. “Storm” and “Wyntir” were orphaned when poachers killed their respective mothers while they were still very young calves. Wyntir and Storm underwent extensive care and rehabilitation before entering the Care For Wild Rhino Sanctuary rewilding and release programme. Storm and Wyntir are now proud parents of Blizzy, the first rhino calf in history born from orphaned rhino parents.
Zawadi offers a wide range of bronze sculptures, which have been carefully designed and created for the discerning buyer. This bronze rhino is ideal for your home as a statement piece. Zawadi has used the “lost wax” technique in casting, which is the preferred method, as it brings out every little detail of the original sculpture. A portion of the sale price is donated by Zawadi directly to the Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Denny Haskew currently resides in Loveland, Colorado where he is actively engaged in the art industry as a sculptor. He received his degree from the University of Utah, then served two years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Having spent numerous years as a guide and ski instructor, Denny has learned to love the rivers and mountains of the western states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, and Utah.
