In mint condition, this caddy retains its exceptionally hand engraved brass inlay, rosewood exterior, with works of ebony within the corner scrolling volutes. The interior lids are original also retaining their exceptionally fine engraved brass inlays and the interior of each caddy box retains portions of its original foil lining. The center well has an extraordinary Anglo-Irish cut glass pedestal mixing bowl which may not be original but fits perfectly well (and is as receieved/purchased). A stunning Antique Silver Artist’s paint box by Harry Atkin, Date Sheffield 1892.
A Rare Miniature travelling paint box in excellent condition. The silver on both the outside and the interior is in superb condition.
Upon opening, the front cascades down to reveal two wells for water and perhaps mixing colours.
The interior is well protected thanks to the interior gilding. The lid engraved “Lettice’s Paint Box”. Lettice is a traditional, English girl’s name most commonly found in the upper classes.
The actual paints are not original but the current set of paints are a later acceptable replacement. The miniature brush was with it but not original and doubt it ever had one.

This is a highly decorative antique Victorian silver plated folding biscuit box, the base bearing the makers' mark of the renowned silversmiths Fenton Brothers of Sheffield, England, circa 1890 in date and bearing the Staniforth's Patent mark as well as the registration number 3549.
It has a beautifully shaped body sitting in a cast frame with remarkably chased branch supports and the original interior features elegant hand-pierced dividers.
It opens out into two halves and is held shut by gorgeous laurel wreath loose ring handles at the top.
This wonderful container could house anything from sweets to biscuits or trinkets.
Whatever you choose to store in this lovely item you are sure to do it in style.
