An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George II English sterling silver lady's mug by Gabriel Sleath; an addition to our Georgian silverware collection. This exceptional antique early George II sterling silver mug has a plain baluster shaped form onto a circular domed spreading foot. The surface of this antique silver mug is plain and embellished with the contemporary engraved crest of a human head couped at the shoulders, surmounted with a coronet. The upper and lower portions are encircled with tooled decorated borders to the rims. This Georgian silver mug is fitted with an impressive S scroll handle with a plain thumbpiece ornamented with the contemporary engraved initials 'EMR'. A fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver helmet shaped creamer made by Peter and Ann Bateman, an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection. This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has a helmet shaped form onto a pedestal with a circular spreading foot and plain square base. The upper portion of the body is ornamented with a broad band of bright cut engraved irregular undulating decoration.
