Vintage Chest of Drawers in the Riviera style, made in beech wood and covered by a thick weave of bamboo fiber profiled, solid rush and brass handles. It was made in Italy and most probably by Dal Vera, between 1960 and 1970. A vintage, 1970s, Henredon USA, Campaign chest of 3 long drawers. Hollywood Regency style. Made from stained Oak, with their original polished brass hardware handles and hinges. The chest is well made, solid and very heavy considering its size. The highly lacquered polished wood is finished with a rich dark brown stain that highlights the deep grain beautifully. Each drawer features dovetail joints illustrating the long lasting workmanship involved in their construction and of the chest itself. The chest of drawers are perfect for a bedroom as a bedside cabinet or in a dining or living room area, working well with any style of decor, from contemporary to mid century modern. In very good vintage condition and extremely sturdy. There are some small scratches which I've illustrated in the images. However, they're lacquered and polished into the surface which may mean that they have always been there because they're not new. Sourced from its original owners who moved to London recently.
