This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 9k yellow gold with a silver setting. The bar style brooch is ornamented to the centre with a feature fifteen-claw set 2.60 Carat cabochon cut white opal. The stunning cabochon opal is encircled by fifteen individually claw set Old European cut diamonds. The impressive antique brooch is ornamented with a further ten Old European cut diamonds, each individually millegrain decorated collet set to the terminal of a linear bar within a stellate design. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp. This versatile antique brooch can also be worn as a pendant; if required, the brooch fitment could be removed and a ring loop can be attached to enable the piece to be worn as a pendant. The pierced decorated, ornate cross design is hollow in nature, embellished with a scrolling decoration to the crossbar terminals.
