Pair of Gilt Bronze Wall Lights, Louis XVI Style – Mid 19th Century

About the Item

Beautiful set of gilt bronze sconces with three light arms featuring Louis XVI style ornamentation. These sconces feature a wall-mounted section featuring an urn surrounded by a thick garland of foliage and topped with a pine cone. This urn rests on a layer of acanthus leaves. Below, a ribbon bow is accompanied by a pearl garland wrapped in a volute at the bottom. A final small bow completes the decoration. Each of these sconces features three curved branches equipped with chiseled bobeches. Combining finesse and elegance, these two sconces will also charm you with their beautiful gilding. ******** Period: Mid-19th century Excellent condition. Delivery within France and internationally.
