1920s-1930s Pair of Bauhaus-style lounge chairs by Mücke & Melder
About the Item
Pair of Bauhaus-style lounge chairs by Mücke & Melder, dating from the 1920s–1930s. Featuring original green upholstery in vintage condition with visible signs of age including some stains and small holes. The chrome tubular steel frame remains in excellent condition, providing sturdy support and comfortable seating. An iconic design piece, closely related in style to the works of H.W. Gispen and Thonet, exemplifying the modernist aesthetic of the interwar period.
