“Eye candy.” That’s how our clients describe the interiors of this new home in a suburb of Chicago. Both timeless and occasionally edgy, the interiors are heavily focused on highlighting the home’s architectural details—from steel and glass privacy paneling that can be easily opened or closed for privacy, to a custom range hood, and a hotel-worthy bar with brass details.To warm up the interiors and offset the more dramatic elements, we incorporated a palette of neutrals and navy blues; suede and leather upholstery; and wood accents to balance natural materials such as flagstone and marble. The result feels both polished and inviting; architectural and cozy.
