Bel-Air

Family Home by Nathan Turner Inc in Los Angeles, CA

A 1930s Bel-Air home Turner created to be "traditional yet cool" with rich layers, this home belongs to a young couple who appreciate a traditional aesthetic. I wanted to stay true to that but mix it up with some modern pieces so it didn’t feel too mature. Most of the art and antiques were purchased together over a few buying trips to Europe. This made for a very personal home, where most items have a memory attached to them for both me and the clients. My favorite combo is the Warhol we bought in London and the 60’s Lucite and brass desk we found at Rooigem in Belgium.
