Working within the same layout we transformed this colonial style master bathroom into a luxurious space that blends historical and modern aesthetics. We wanted the finishes to feel special but not overpower the space. To achieve this, we ran lilac marble tiles along all the floors and then book-matched slabs in the same stone on the shower walls. To balance out this beautifully active marble we wrapped the walls in ceiling in a warm grey stucco giving a hint of texture and creating a completely wet room. Custom oak vanities in a neoclassical style flank a modern bathtub. Fine details such as push-button switching, flush doors and antique lighting and accessories elevate the luxurious atmosphere.
