Casa Fortuna

Casa Fortuna was recently completed for an LA based developer who built a sizable portion of the area where Punta Mita Estates, Four Seasons and St. Regis resorts are now located. Casa Fortuna is his vacation home which was built 12 years ago and required a mass remodel completed in 2018. Since the mass development of the Los Cabos area, Punta Mita. The client wanted to take the house from being a traditional Mexican style retreat to a more contemporary beach house with a boutique hotel aesthetic. The house, approximately 15,000 square feet, is composed of seven different structures and sits on the bluff overlooking Marietas Islands. As the original developer of the area, the client saved the best lot in the area for himself and the property’s views are unrivaled. The getaway now contains custom lighting by Uri Daviliier of Neptune Glassworks, the lighting extraordinaire responsible for all the lighting in downtown LA’s ultra chic restaurant, OTIUM. Unique art pieces were commissioned from emerging LA, NY and Mexico based artists. The exterior bar pavilion was added in the renovation as was an upper and lower sand beach.
