Apartment by Lee Ledbetter and Associates in New Orleans, LA
A 2,400 square-foot, two-story loft space in a 19th Century industrial building was converted into an upscale residential condominium with views of the historic French Market and Mississippi River. The rough-hewn timber ceilings were maintained throughout as were selected areas of plaster-skimmed exposed brick walls. Anchoring the condominium is a large living space that accommodates three furniture seatings, a kitchen, and dining area. Repetitive windows on two sides modulate the space while providing abundant natural light to the mostly amber color scheme.
