East Grand Rapids

The team at KitchenLab Interiors was asked to create a culinary masterpiece in this new build home in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. The scope included designing and outfitting the finishes and fixtures for the the kitchen and butler’s pantry. The La Cornue range and hood in matte black enamel and brass captures the center stage, while the soft whites, creams and browns act as a timeless backdrop. Beveled subway tile with charcoal grout, transitions to Bianca Perla quartzite countertops on the perimeter, while a gorgeous slab of Calacatta marble adorns the top of the walnut island. Waterworks faucets and Circa industrial style brass pendant lights are the accessories in this classic kitchen. The clients refer to the butler’s pantry as a “little jewel box”, with Waterworks mosaic floor tile, Calacatta countertops, antiqued mirror backsplash, and Farrow and Ball wallpaper lining the backs of the open cabinets.
