Killcare House

Nestled into the stunning Bouddi National Park in Killcare, NSW, this impressive home-away-from-home was built for a couple and their adult son as a retreat from their busy Sydney lives. Originally briefed with a decorative scope to complement the architecture by Square Design, our involvement gradually incorporated design collaboration on architectural specifications. The resulting home is richly layered with a dark, dramatic design palette and characterful decoration. From the speakeasy bar (concealed behind a hidden door) to the woven bronze mesh hiding state-of-the-art AV equipment in the living room, we designed a sanctuary that fulfils each resident’s visions of home.
