Little Holmby

This English manor country style home located in the Little Holmby area of Los Angeles was extensively remodeled in 2017 on the interior and exterior. The home needed to be modernized for a young family. Palevsky Co brought the space up to date changing the floor plan, brightening the walls and beams and re-designing the living room and kitchen to accommodate the family's needs. The entire backyard needed to be brought up to date as the renovated house now felt more streamlined and modern. As a result, the patio hardscape was re-defined in a linear fashion to follow the lines of the house. The den, dining room and living room French style doors all step onto the new patio and just beyond lies a beautiful, sprawling green lawn and pool. The original red brick on the front walkway and backyard pool stone were kept intact in keeping with the aesthetic of the English country manor style architecture. The new patio is adorned with furnishings from Janus et Cie decorated with bold black and white fabrics, pillows and patterns.
