The house in question is located in the heart of the historic Castro neighborhood of San Francisco; the area is punctuated by magnificent buildings that recall Victorian architecture, dating back to the early 1900s. "We wanted to make sure that, although the design was modern, we respected the history of the building", continues the designer who, thanks to a strong friendship that binds him to the owner couple, had carte blanche for the restyling. "My clients are a couple in their thirties. We have been friends for about six years and both work in the technical sector. They contacted me to find out if I could help them redesign their new home, after seeing my latest project published on AD."
