Tasked with designing lifestyle brand Shinola's first ever hotel, Gachot Studios set out to create the living room of Detroit. Designed to express Shinola's commitment to craftsmanship and regard for history, the hotel is at once timeless and keenly aware of what hotel customers -- and the community -- want today.
