West End Avenue

This space is a classic pre-war 6 at 325 West End Avenue in New York City. It needed some significant re-configuring to create the open, common spaces that we envisioned for the family. However, this full re-configuration did not come at the expense of the classic details unique to this type of apartment. We maintained or re-gained classic elements wherever possible. When it came to decorating, our clients shared our passion for 20th century design. The furnishings are a unique collection of vintage pieces and custom Made by Mendelson designs mixed with the client's own art. Formality was not the goal here. Efficiency, comfort and sophistication were our objectives. The client wasn't interested in a flashy apartment, rather a well designed space that they could call home.
