How do I find out how much my pottery is worth?
To find out how much your pottery is worth, you have two main options. You can conduct research on your own using trusted online resources. Checking the previous sale prices for pottery similar to yours in terms of maker, style, type, age and condition can allow you to estimate the value of your pieces. The other option is to take your pottery to a certified appraiser or experienced art dealer who can inspect it and provide you with an estimated fair market value.
