In Uncertainty, Iryna Burda delicately yet uncompromisingly explores the fragile, unstable state between decision and helplessness, between motion and stillness. Iryna works with subtle psychological structures, drawing attention to the subconscious barriers that often go unnoticed but deeply influence our choices and behavior. In Uncertainty, the viewer is confronted with an inner landscape filled with tension, silence, and anticipation — a space where no decision has yet been made, but the previous state has already dissolved.
This piece does not offer answers — and therein lies its power. It leaves the viewer alone with their own hesitation, making us feel that uncertainty is also an essential part of the journey toward self-understanding.
