Artist Commentary: Stardust Cephalopod is a bioluminescent flowering squid, existing both in the depths of the sea and the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy. In this work a shell sits against a bright teal background, teeming with life: purple and pink flowers, lush green foliage, and a peacock feather adorn the crustacean home, as if growing directly from its surface.
