Symbols is an original artwork realized by Adolphe Giraldon in the first half of the XX Century. Original china ink and watercolor on paper. Passepartout included (cm 26 x 37). Very good conditions. Simple and elegant work representing two misterious symbols with different colors: the right symbol is on olive green background and the left one is on ivory background. The two figures presents the initials "G" and "E" on the margins of the triangle. The work has been realized by Adolphe Giraldon (Marseille, 1855 - 1933) a French expert bijou and furniture designer, as well as a talented weaver and book illustrator. He became teacher in Glasgow and illustrated several works; among the others: Rolla by Mousset, the Eclogue by Virgil and Le Jardin de l'Infante by Samain.
