Signature: Signed Lower Right This illustration is on 15.00" x 10.00" illustration board, with a 9.00" x 9.00" image. Drawing by George Wachsteter (1911-2004), for the short-lived 1946 Broadway comedy `Wonderful Journey` with (l to r) Philip Loeb, Sidney Blackmer, and Donald Murphy, as fight manager Max Levene, guardian angel Mr. Jordan and reincarnated boxer Joe Pendleton, who `proves his identity by a saxaphone solo`, as indicated by pencil caption. A stage version of the hit 1940 film, `Here Comes Mr. Jordan`, performed at the Coronet Theatre. The play opened on Dec. 25, 1946 and closed Jan. 1, 1947 after only 9 performances.
