Medium: Pen and Ink on Cardstock Signature: Signed Upper Left Caricature by George Wachsteter (1911-2004) of `Father Knows Best` on NBC-TV, Oct 3, 1954 debut, with Robert Young, Jane Wyatt, Elinor Donahue, Billy Gray & Lauren Chapin, This definitive domestic sitcom was based on the radio series of the same name that ran over NBC from 1949-54, and also starred Robert Young as warm and wise Jim Anderson, head of the iconic atomic family. This illustration is on 14.25" x 22.50" cardstock with a 10.00" x 16.00." Used in the New York Journal-American TV/Radio column.
