About the Item

Medium: Pen and Ink on Illustration Board Signature: Signed Upper Right Caricature by George Wachsteter (1911-2004) for TV`s first `really big giveaway` hit, the CBS-TV series, `The Millionaire` (1955-60) where reclusive multi-millionaire John Beresford Tipton (character with back turned), through his personal secretary Michael Anthony (played by Marvin Miller, not pictured), would give to complete strangers a certified check for $1 million each week. The anthology-style drama would then trace how the money affected each person`s life. Includes photostat. 9 1/2" x 12 1/2" image. Good condition.
