Medium: Pen and Ink on Paper Signature: Signed Upper Right Caricature by George Wachsteter (1911-2004) for the popular sitcom `My Little Margie`, starring Gale Storm and Charles Farrell. The show began as a summer replacement for `I Love Lucy` over CBS on June 16, 1952 and ran until Sept 8, 1952 before moving to NBC on Oct 4, 1952 until its cancellation on May 25, 1955. Illustration done later in show`s run, perhaps rendered to promote the series shift from CBS to NBC as a regularly scheduled series in Oct 1952. GW has applied Ben-Day half-tone dots to the chair and some books. 20 3/4" x 16 3/4" overall. Includes photostat copy. 12 1/2" x 10" image. Fine condition.framed
