Caricature by George Wachsteter (1911-2004) to promote the new summer series `Peck`s Bad Girl` starring Patty McCormack & Wendell Corey, debuting May 5, 1959, over CBS-TV on Tuesdays as a replacement for `The Arthur Godfrey Show`. Despite respectable reviews, the comedy only lasted 145 episodes and was not picked up for the 1959-1960 season. McCormick played a much more chilling and unforgettable `bad girl` 3 years earlier in `The Bad Seed`. Artwork here appeared on cover of Sunday, May 24, 1959 issue of the of The New York Journal American TView Section. On 19" x 11" illustration board, with colored pencil overlay, includes original copy of magazine. 14" X 9 1/2" image. Minor soiling.
