Caricature by George Wachsteter (1911-2004) for ABC-TV sitcom, `Room for One More` starring Peggy McKay and Andrew Duggan as a couple who decide to adopt and add to their existing family. Akin to `The Brady Bunch` in concept, the series debuted Saturday, Jan 27, 1962 but was a ratings orphan and it soon abandoned the airwaves on July 28, 1962, Artwork appeared on the cover of the March 11, 1962 New York Journal American Pictorial Magazine and TView Section, includes original copies. On 22" x 14 1/2" illustration board with colored pencil on onionskin overlay, having notations. 14" x 9 1/2" image. Minor soiling, wrinkles, edge chips, tape on onionskin.
