Impressionist Portrait of a Woman Original Gouache and Watercolor
Impressionist portrait in the style of Picasso and Matisse by California artist Mayumi Watanabe (American/Japanese, 20th C). Mayumi arrived in California in 1980-81 after leaving Japan for new adventures. She studied in Japan with master painter Ko Shibata, at Cabrillo College and received her BA in Fine Art at the University of California. She exhibited regularly in Santa Cruz and Monterey. Exhibited; Monterey Museum Biennial Exhibition 1992
