Vibrant double protrait by California artist Virginia J. Hughins (American, 1923-2004). There are two portraits in this compostion, partially overlapping each other. They are executed in bright pinks, oranges, greens, and blues, with white highlights.
Unframed.
Unsigned, but was acquired with a collection of the artist's work.
Art size: 24"W x 18"H
Hughins was an accomplished artist, many of her watercolors could be seen around Santa Clara, Santa Cruz County Watercolor Society shows. She was an avid freelance writer and illustrator for children's books. Lifetime member of Romance Writers Association and Pen Women's Association.
