Located in West Palm Beach, FL
Title: Lantern Column I
Year: 1998 - 2014
Medium: Mold blown glass, cast polymer, steel, cast iron
Size: 41 3/4" inches
Niho Kozuru (髙鶴丹穂) is a Japanese-born mixed media artist based in Boston, MA. Kozuru casts and reconfigures molds of her own designs, classical and industrial turned architectural forms in unexpected materials. Using rubber, glass and clay she creates columns with undulating silhouettes.

They have been shown in various configurations in multiple US States as well as the Fukuoka City Museum in Kyushu, Japan. Kozuru made 60 components by blowing glass into molds of her own designs while at Artists in Residency at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina.
After traveling the world, the Lantern Columns have been arranged into their final configuration, with a steel armature within and each topped with a vivid cast iron final...

Bedroom Brunette with Irises
Located in Palm Desert, CA
A sculpture by Tom Wesselmann. "Bedroom Brunette with Irises" is a contemporary wall sculpture, oil on cut-out aluminum by Blue Chip, Pop artist Tom Wesselmann. The work is unsigned. This piece was conceived in 1988 and frabricated by Lippincott Sculpture studio in 2004.
Tom Wesselmann was born in Cincinnati Ohio on February 23 1931. He attended college from 1945-1951, first at the Hiram College in Ohio and then the University of Cincinnati, where he majored in psychology. He was drafted during the Korean War in 1952, and it was during this time that Wesselmann did his first cartoons. After he was discharged and had finished in degree in psychology, Wesselmann began to study drawing at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. He sold his first cartoon strips to two magazines, 1000 Jokes and True.
In 1956, he was accepted to Cooper Union in New York and he continued his studies there. It was while he was studying in New York, specifically on a trip to the MoMA that Wesselmann became inspired by Robert Motherwell and Willem de Kooning. In 1958, a landscape painting trip to Cooper Union’s Green Camp in New Jersey brought him to the realization that he could make his career in painting, rather than cartooning.
After graduation, Wesselmann became one of the founding members of the Judson Gallery, along with Marc Ratliff and Jim Dine. Wesselmann also began to teach art at a public school in Brooklyn and later at the High School of Art and Design.
In 1961, Wesselmann began the series that would bring him to the attention of the art world, Great American Nude. After a dream concerning the phrase “red, white and blue”, Wesselmann decided to limit himself to a palette of only those colors (including colors like gold and khaki that are associated with patriotic motifs). This series incorporated representational images along the same patriotic theme, including American landscape photographs and portraits of the founding fathers. Wesselmann often collaged these images from magazines and discarded posters which required him to work in a much larger format than he was used to. As his works became larger and larger he approached advertisers directly to acquire billboards. Wesselmann’s first solo show was held in 1961 at Tanager Gallery. In 1962, Richard Bellamy gave him a one man exhibition at the Green Gallery.
In 1962, Wesselmann participated in the group exhibition “New Realists” at the Sidney Janis Gallery and kicked off his international career. In that same year his first pieces with the title of Still Life, came about. In these works, Wesselmann concentrated on the juxtaposition of different elements, i.e. a cigarette ad...

"Pantaloncini: Work No. 012 (Emma)" sculpture with pins
By Angela Ellsworth
Located in Phoenix, AZ
Angela Ellsworth
Pantaloncini: Work No. 012 (Emma), 2017
47,160 pearl corsage pins, colored dress pins, fabric, steel
25”h x 18"w x 12”d
Angela Ellsworth is an interdisciplinary artist who works in sculpture, drawing, installation, and performance. Her solo and collaborative work draws on a broad range of topics: illness (particularly her personal battle with cancer in her twenties), physical fitness, endurance, religious traditions (influenced by her family’s history and especially her great, great, grandfather, Lorenzo Snow, who was the fifth prophet and president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), and social issues (such as queerness and non-heteronormative relationships in contemporary society as well as the tradition of polygamy with the early history of Mormonism.)
Addressing the secret languages pulsing beneath officially-sanctioned accounts of history and religion, Ellsworth’s mysterious, entrancing objects and performances draw lines of communication between her Mormon ancestry and the work of 19th and 20th century female mystics, delving into an unspoken realm of gestural language, psychic connection, and sensuous geometry. In 2014, she founded the Museum of Walking, which is committed to conversations about land, action and site within the context of art.
Ellsworth holds a MFA in painting and performance from Rutgers University and a BA in photography and painting from Hampshire College. Her work has been shown internationally including at The Getty Center (CA), Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney, Australia), Zacheta National Gallery of Art (Warsaw, Poland), National Review of Live Art...

"The Metropolitan Scene", a portfolio of prints by Richard Anuszkiewicz, Helen Frankenthaler, Adolph Gottlieb, Nicholas Krushenick, Roy Lichtenstein, and George Segal, was commissioned for a traveling exhibition organized by the Education Department of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, NY. The museum received ten Roman-numbered copies for this purpose. Tanglewood Press then released all but Gottlieb's print in numbered editions of fifty. (Gottlieb's contract with Marlborough Gallery, New York, NY, did not permit commercial release of his print by the publisher).
"Air Frame" (cat. no. 6) was Frankenthaler's first silkscreen - a medium that Universal Limited Art Editions, West Islip, NY did not use, although it became increasingly popular for artists' prints, both in Europe and the United States, during the sixties. Several other silkscreens followed in the next few years: "Untitled" (cat no. 11), in 1967, and "Sun Corner" (cat. no. 12) by Tanglewood Press, New York, in 1968. - "What Red Lines Can Do" (cat. nos. 22-26) is a suite of silkscreens published by Multiples, Inc., at that time directed by Rosa Esman, in 1970. - (Harrison - page 19).

Biography:
Salvador Dalí (May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989), was a prominent Spanish Catalan surrealist painter born in Figueres, Spain. Dalí was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. His best-known work, The Persistence of Memory, was completed in August 1931.
