Charles Fazzino, graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City is one of the most popular and highly-collected pop artists of all time. During his more-than-thirty years as a pop artist, he has inserted his unique, detailed, vibrant, and three-dimensional style of artwork into the very fabric of popular culture. Fazzino’s artworks are exhibited in hundreds of museums and galleries in more than twenty different countries. He has received many private and important commissions and has been selected as the official artist for festivals and events all over the world. Charles is often referred to as a pop culture historian because of the breadth of his work and the way it touches his collectors and captures the best parts of their contemporary lives. His legacy will mark him as part of the next generation of famous pop artists as he follows the paths originally forged by pop art pioneers such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Red Grooms, and Roy Lichtenstein.

Charles Fazzino
Charles Fazzino is an American pop artist, known for his silkscreen serigraphs in a 3D pop art style. His artwork incorporates influence from urban landscapes, sporting events, and modern celebrities. As described in the book about Fazzino titled The Master of 3-D Pop Art, "An innovative and imaginative storyteller, Charles Fazzino serves up a bevy of details in his unique three-dimensional creations. His collectors marvel as much at his ability to capture the entire essence of his subject matter in one statement, as they do at his use of vibrant colors, his whimsical sense of humor, and his hand-assembled multi-layered artistic style. Although, the snappy titled often gives a clue to the content of each painting, it can take years of careful observation to discern all of the details in a single Fazzino image. One of Fazzino's greatest joys is to observe visitors at exhibition of his work. 'I love to watch the smiles form as people begin to recognize elements of my paintings,' comments Fazzino. 'They point at the images as if inserting themselves into the stories. I watch that and I'm reminded of why i paint. It's all about celebrating the joy and fun we have as human beings on this planet."

In 2009, his cartoons led to worldwide media attention and the largest protest against the New York Post in it's 200+ yr history with many politicians calling for his arrest. Sean's cartoons linking Freddy Ferrer to Al Sharpton "helped decide the 2001 mayoral race" ( New York magazine, March 21-28, 2005) and were mentioned in the NYC Democrat mayoral candidate's concession speech (November 7, 2001). In 2018, New Mexico’s entire congressional delegation condemned Sean for an immigration cartoon based on Trump's State of the Union speech that appeared in the Albuquerque Journal. (New York Times, 02/08/18)
A sold out one man art show at the Limner Gallery led to his largest commission -- creating the altar painting for the Church of St. Agnes in NYC. Many of his friends at the NY Post, were the models for this painting.

Lichtenstein made the paper plate for the well-known fashion and advertising photographer Bert Stern, who had set up an uber-chic New York boutique called “On First Store”. Located in Manhattan, Stern’s idea was to commission stylish yet affordable objects for the home and wardrobe from notable fashion designers and artists. Unfortunately, the shop did not last long and most of the plates were left undistributed.
