"The Real One - James Bond", 2023, 30 x 20 cm, is an acrylic pop-art mixed media sculpture work by German artist Devin Miles. The mixed media work on canvas creates an impressive depth and three-dimensionality due to the artists fine silkscreen printing, painting, airbrush technique. He skillfully and carefully applies paints and contrasts, creates relationships among the motifs, awakens memories and associations that play on and with the viewer's imagination. This pop art sculpture is a fun work to sit on a sideboard or on a book shelf. Edition 100. Originally signed and numbered.
Devin Miles is one of Germany's most celebrated contemporary pop art artists. His atelier is based outside of Hamburg and he has a long track record in exhibiting nationally and Europe wide. He works on the base of brushed aluminium, wood, and canvas and creates unique works as well as small editions. No picture is exactly like another, even if the motif for the works is the same. He calls it "a series of a kind" - after all, the details (a slight variation in color, a rather different shading here and paint that runs a different course there) are what makes each and every one of his works something unique and special. The expressiveness of the faces plays a vital role in his selection of motifs. He associates the faces with emotions, and from there he develops an aesthetic story.

This one of a kind, work on canvas titled "Wild Day in Gotham" measures 42x30" framed, canvas size is 40x28". It combines images of Ceravolo's original super hero paintings with a mixture of images from vintage comic books. Once Ceravolo is satisfied with the composition he then prints the one of a kind image on canvas at his studio using pigmented inks and then adds hand work to the art with spray paint, acrylic and polymer.
Ceravolo's paintings are in many influential corporate and private collections, including: ELTON JOHN, ROD STEWART, HUGH M. HEFNER, DAVID BRENNER, MONIQUE VAN VOOREN, WARNER BROS., RCA RECORDS AND SCHENLEY INDUSTRIES to name a few.

This new work by Ceravolo combines images of his pop art paintings with images from vintage comic books, where Ceravolo has, in a satirical way, added his gopher muse "G" on the moon to add to the outer space grouping. After Ceravolo has combined and arranged the images where he feels they are in the perfect position, he then adds hand work with acrylic polymer to the finished art. Titled "She Devil Island" it measures 31x39" framed.
