About the Item
Born in 1968, Delphine Housard de La Potterie was first a lawyer before becoming an artist. Those two professions far from being antagonistic, have in common imagination and the power of words.
For personal reasons, dhdlp moved to Hong-Kong, then London, where she decided to change career path and to study Design. She developed a passion for colours and shapes, which led her to become an Interior Designer. In her new job, dhdlp started creating moodboards which initiated her love for collage. Fully aware on how colours and words can impact people, her collages are the means by which she expresses herself.
Like witnesses of a world in perpetual motion, her collages are comparable to newspapers articles narrating our time and can be interpreted as satire of modern society.

Satirical collage on the current society which is a machine to manufacture the cult of the appearance, the individualism, the consumerism, in the background, one can see New York streets, screens of the stock market ... that is the reason for which I put the title in big capital Time to give ... but if one reads carefully one can see that in reality, appears in small "nothing" so that it is time to give nothing on the contrary because "it is my place in the sun "!
