I’m Melissa, Mel, or “Mama” to two. Welcome to my interwoven, overlapping, sometimes messy, and always colorful world. It’s a world filled with energetic and emotional paintings, soulful caftans, and hand-painted clothing. Everything I make originates with a painting. The attitude is fresh, sometimes unpredictable, but never pretentious. The philosophy is to develop and produce consciously using the highest quality natural materials as much as possible. My work is drawn from nature, fashion, journals, prayers, people, music, travels and my children Frankie and Jax. It’s filled with laughter, and tears; energy and sounds; memories and poems; love, goodbyes, and sometimes a kiss and a wink.
