About the Item

Unique Artwork in crayons. About the work: CRAYONS NOT CARNAGE In January 2015 following the terrorist attacks that hit Charlie Hebdo magazine in France, Luke Newton created his first pencil gun. The work was part of the conceptual approach of the artist. A pencil weapon, a consumer item for children that can be dangerous. Luke Newton is a young British artist who graduated from Saint Martins School . Luke Newton sees the world of art as a vast arena where he can hit the great artistic figures of contemporary society with his game of ping pong. Warhol and Duchamp are on the same boat, art falls into the water. Who's left? In a permanent second degree, he derides and relativizes his role as an artist in a society overwhelmed by images. Pencils draw pencils, mice sculpt mice... And through them the artist puts himself in the abyss. Thus, he makes Industrial Home Made, creating himself "factory objects" of surgical precision.

NAOR - Lenticular Minnie
Located in PARIS, FR
Naor is a French artist from Lyon born in 1988. Completely anchored in his time, he has always traveled a lot around the world. If travels form youth, Naor was inspired by it. From the top of his thirty years, he succeeded in retranscribing his observations, his feelings and his impressions. Thanks to his childlike supports, his contemporary details, he achieves a delicious harmony between softness and violence. This discrepancy constitutes his identity. Like life, marked by hardship, his works refer us to our own experiences. Finally, the use of luxury brands in a spirit of "Pop'art" allows him to pay homage or to denounce the way our societies...

FALCONE - Life is Beautiful - Infinity
Located in PARIS, FR
Limited Edition, Light box Falcone is a self-taught artist and designer with deep roots in the history of art. The art foundation of his grandfather, passionate about geometric and kinetic works, was the playground of his childhood. Carmelo Arden Quin's unstructured paintings intrigued him, he played with the reliefs of Agam and those of Soto. Circles, squares, endlessly supported by shape and color, lead him to go further, to multiply the image without end. He positions his creations between experience and contemplative work. The artist chooses LEDs, neon lights, optical fibers...
